Scary Biscuits

Yesterday I went for a skills test with a company that I was hoping to get a summer placement with, and today I got an email from them saying: 
 
“Your results indicated that you would be able to cope well with the 
tasks planned for the summer. 
 
We would like to invite you to attend a short interview to meet our 
MD and development manager to complete the application process.” 
 
So hopefully that sounds like I have got that in the bag, hopefully I will get the accomodation I need from the university accomodation office so I can accept the placement!

Well I went into town today since I had to go by a black tie for the media awards tomorrow, and after I managed to pick up one for like £4 I wondered around the Swansea indoor market. Quite randomly I found a sweet stall that was selling easter eggs off at 3 for £2, what a bargin, so now I have two caramel and a heroes easter egg.

Well another win for the DRM industry, another key which allows the decryption of all existing HDDVD movies has become public knowledge.  
 
The reason by which this key became public knowledge you ask, well it was discovered by someone on the Doom9 and then they send a DMCA request to remove the key from the site, but unfortunatly the key was actually contained within the URL they wished to take down. So now therefore the key is in the public domain and is popping up all over the internet. 
 
The result of this madness is that they have sent a DMCA request to google for them to remove all links which point towards the forum post as well as any links to pages that link to the said forum post. This of course is a ridiculous request. Hopefully someone will get around to making an HD DVD player for Linux now.

Just when you think you might have got a handle on your dissertation you find all of a sudden after a meeting with your project supervisor that actually you have a A4 page long to do list.
